Structural Concrete Workers

TITLE: Structural Concrete Worker

ROLE:

We’re looking for motivated, experienced Structural Concrete Workers to join our growing construction team. If you take pride in your craftsmanship and want to be part of high-quality, ground-up structural builds, we want to hear from you. Pay is DOE. Medical, Dental, 401k, vacation & holidays. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Formwork layout, setup, and removal (including wall, column, slab, and footing forms)
  • Concrete placement, vibration, finishing, and curing
  • Reading and interpreting construction drawings, plans, and blueprints
  • Rebar installation, tie-in, and coordination with ironworkers
  • Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards
  • Collaborating with foremen and other trades on-site


Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years of structural concrete experience (commercial, industrial, or heavy civil preferred)
  • Familiarity with tools such as levels, laser levels, trowels, floats, screeds, and saws
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, as well as a vehicle to get to and from the job site.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety practices; OSHA 10 or 30 is a plus

Superintendent

 

TITLE:  Superintendent

REPORTS TO:  General Superintendent, President

ROLE:

The Superintendent is solely responsible and will be held accountable for the timely completion of projects and will ensure that projects are constructed in strict accordance with plans, specifications, and local codes.  Superintendent shall schedule all subcontractors, consultants, and vendors, as well as ensure their completion of work within time allowed. The Superintendent shall be responsible for the coordination of work directed in the field and will be the primary responsible role for on-site safety directives per RCI company policy and enforcement. The Superintendent shall establish and enforce job site quality control programs to ensure quality completion of construction.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. To be assessed by clients as having met or exceeded their expectations
  2. Primarily responsible for on-site safety adherence and enforcement.  Work with Project Manager to keep workers safe from injury in compliance with company safety protocols and all OSHA safety regulations
  3. Meeting or improving on-site project budgets.  Work with Project Manager on a frequent basis to for budget review and ongoing cost controls to meet or exceed budget expectations
  4. Review and thorough understanding of all subcontract agreements per project.  Responsible for enforcing work duration agreements as well as subcontractor scope of work agreements
  5. Meet or exceed Owner and RCI construction quality standards
  6. Complete construction projects on or before the contractual completion date.  Superintendent will be primarily responsible for the creation of the construction schedule. Superintendent will work with the Project Manager to maintain, update, and disseminate the schedule to Owner and subcontractors, suppliers, and all other required parties
  7. Ensure that all project field staff utilizes the company’s policies and procedures
  8. To be assessed by vendor partners as having collaboratively managed and efficiently sequenced the jobsite in a manner consistent with the terms of their contractual agreements
  9. To provide an on-site environment that fosters employee satisfaction and positive morale
  10. Maintain a neat orderly construction site
  11. Be responsible for security of the project, its equipment, and materials
